Nia Jax Received Stitches After Bloody Injury on 5/16 WWE SmackDown

The May 16 edition of WWE SmackDown saw Nia Jax getting busted open the hard way, leaving her a bloody mess. Unsurprisingly, Nia Jax has now revealed that she received stitches following the bloody injury.

The former WWE Women’s Champion took to her Instagram story and uploaded a photo of herself, revealing that she required stitches following her bloody injury on SmackDown last week. That’s not all as Jax also showed off a bruise on her arm that she suffered during the match.

During the WWE Women’s Title match featuring Tiffany Stratton and Nia Jax, Stratton dropkicked a steel chair into Jax’s face, which busted her open. Taking advantage of the moment, Stratton hit her second Prettiest Moonsault Ever to get the win.

The match was full of chaos, with outside interference from Naomi and Jade Cargill. They fought at ringside, and Naomi tried to use a chair, but it backfired and led to a wild brawl in the crowd. At the same time, Nia Jax tried to take the title and use Naomi’s chair to beat Tiffany Stratton, but her plan went wrong in a painful way.

Many fans respect Nia Jax for her performance in the match and carrying on despite getting busted open. Regardless, we will have to wait and see what’s next in store for Nia Jax now that she failed to win back the WWE Women’s Championship.
