Next Challenger for The Miz’s Intercontinental Title Revealed

Dave Meltzer indicated in the latest issue of The Wrestling Observer Newsletter that Braun Strowman will be the next challenger for The Miz’s intercontinental Championship title.

While discussing the post-match angle between Seth Rollins and Kane from this past Monday’s RAW, Meltzer mentioned that the idea is for The Shield to work a program with Kane, Sheamus and Cesaro, while Strowman works a program with The Miz.

Meltzer wrote, “The idea was for The Shield to work with Sheamus & Cesaro & Miz, and Kane wasn’t booked on house shows, but it looked here like the angle is for Strowman vs. Miz and Kane & Sheamus & Cesaro with The Shield when Reigns returns.”
