Dragon Lee inked a deal with WWE, and he is set to get a big push in NXT from the jump. His arrival in NXT also brought a lot of money his way, but it’s still not what he could be making on the main roster eventually.

The Wrestling Observer Newsletter noted that Dragon Lee’s contract with NXT is not like the rest of the roster. In fact, he has a “much larger” paycheck connected to his deal.

While Dragon Lee having the much larger than usual NXT deal and clearly there to be the young Mexican superstar babyface on the main roster, probably is looked at as having the most potential down the line.

Dragon Lee signed with NXT with no intention of sticking around WWE’s developmental brand for a very long period of time. Considering the fact that NXT is paying him a lot more than other talent, they might not want him to stay in NXT for a very long period of time.

WWE has a lot of very promising stars in NXT, and Dragon Lee is obviously one of them. Only time will tell how long it takes for Dragon Lee to make his way to the main roster, but it might not take very much time at all.

What’s your take on Dragon Lee’s time in NXT? Did he make a great decision by signing with WWE? Sound off in the comments!
