TNA Wrestling just locked down a rising star in the women’s division — and she’s got the height, grit, and athletic background to prove she’s here to dominate.

On March 27, TNA took to social media to confirm they’ve officially signed Maggie Lee to a contract. The 5-foot-11 Iowa native has been appearing on TNA Xplosion since October 2024, but now she’s officially part of the Knockouts roster.

“TNA Wrestling confirmed today that it has signed Maggie Lee, as first reported by the Battleground Podcast, the official iHeartRadio Podcast,” the company shared.

Lee isn’t just another rookie. She’s a four-year college volleyball player with All-Region and All-Conference accolades to her name. She earned her degree in exercise science while training to become a pro wrestler — and she’s no stranger to grinding for results. Before stepping into the ring, she worked summers on a gas dock fueling boats.

Trained at the Black & Brave Wrestling Academy — the school co-owned by WWE’s Seth Rollins — Maggie Lee made her wrestling debut in 2022 and has worked the indie circuit with appearances for Glory Pro, AAW, and Chicago Style Wrestling.

But make no mistake, she’s got flair too. In a fun fact that speaks volumes about her early wrestling fandom, Lee said: “I do have multiple shirts from when I was younger with ‘BELLA’ written in Sharpie (pen) on the back … shoutout Nikki Bella.”

When she’s not in the ring? She’s lifting weights, doing Olympic-style training, or dreaming of sunshine. “I’m from Iowa but swear my natural habitat is anywhere there is a beach and sunshine,” she said. And for the record, yes — she’s a “horse girl” at heart, though she’s “unfortunately allergic.”

Lee will be in action during TNA’s upcoming tapings in St. Joseph, Missouri on March 28-29. The event will feature big names like Joe Hendry, The Hardys, Masha Slamovich, Mustafa Ali, and more. It’s a packed card — and Maggie’s ready to spike through the competition.

Do you think Maggie Lee is about to shake up the Knockouts Division in a major way? What kind of matchups are you hoping to see her in first? Drop your thoughts below — let’s talk about it.
