Swerve Strickland and Ricochet are running it back, and this time, the stakes couldn’t be higher. AEW has officially announced Strickland vs. Ricochet II for AEW Revolution on March 9 at Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles, with the winner earning a future AEW World Championship opportunity.

The rematch was confirmed on the February 26 episode of AEW Dynamite, where the two stars came face-to-face and made it clear that their unfinished business would be settled in the ring. As Ricochet made his way backstage after the announcement, Prince Nana voiced his concerns to Strickland, warning that he might have to step away from managing him if Strickland doesn’t retrieve his stolen robe from Ricochet.

AEW Revolution is already stacked with championship bouts, major rivalries, and career-altering matches. Here’s the updated card:

  • AEW World Championship Match: Jon Moxley (c) vs. Cope
  • MJF vs. Hangman Page
  • AEW International Championship Match: Konosuke Takeshita (c) vs. Kenny Omega
  • AEW Women’s Championship Match: Toni Storm (c) vs. Mariah May
  • Steel Cage Match: Will Ospreay vs. Kyle Fletcher
  • TBS Championship Match: Mercedes Moné (c) vs. Momo Watanabe
  • #1 Contender’s Match for the AEW World Title: Swerve Strickland vs. Ricochet
  • Big Boom AJ vs. TBA

With championship gold, personal vendettas, and career-defining opportunities on the line, AEW Revolution is shaping up to be a must-see event. Who do you think will walk away with a future AEW World Title shot—Swerve or Ricochet? Drop your predictions in the comments!
