During the February 27, 2025 episode of TNA iMPACT!, a backstage confrontation between Blanchard and Lei Ying Lee escalated fast, leading Santino Marella to make it official—Tessa Blanchard vs. Lei Ying Lee is happening at TNA Sacrifice on March 14.

Blanchard, fresh off avoiding her firing by finally competing in a match, ran into Lee backstage and didn’t waste any time getting in her face.
