Tony D’Angelo isn’t done with DarkState — and Dion Lennox is next on his list.

Since returning to WWE NXT, D’Angelo has made it clear that taking down DarkState is personal. The group — made up of Dion Lennox, Saquon Shugars, Cutler James, and Osiris Griffin — played a major role in the collapse of the D’Angelo Family and ultimately pushed D’Angelo to step away from NXT.

Now he’s back, and he’s settling scores one by one. D’Angelo already struck a blow against the faction by costing Shugars and Griffin the NXT Tag Team Championship. On the March 3 episode of NXT, things escalated even further when D’Angelo attacked Griffin with a crowbar.

That attack immediately brought Lennox storming to the ring, where he called D’Angelo out and demanded a fight. The confrontation led to an official match announcement for NXT Vengeance Day on March 7. However, this won’t be a typical match inside the ring. Both men agreed the fight will begin in the parking lot of the WWE Performance Center before it eventually spills into the arena. D’Angelo made it clear that taking out Lennox would complete one of the two reasons he returned to NXT in the first place.

The updated card for NXT Vengeance Day currently includes:

  • NXT Championship: Joe Hendry (c) vs. Ricky Saints
  • NXT Women’s North American Championship: Izzi Dame (c) vs. Tatum Paxley
  • NXT Underground Match: Lola Vice vs. Kelani Jordan
  • Street Fight: Blake Monroe vs. Jaida Parker
  • Tony D’Angelo vs. Dion Lennox

With the rivalry between D’Angelo and DarkState reaching a boiling point, the parking lot brawl between D’Angelo and Lennox could easily steal the show.

Do you think Tony D’Angelo will finish his revenge against DarkState at Vengeance Day, or will Dion Lennox prove the faction still runs NXT? Let us know what you think.
