It was reported earlier this week via Dave Meltzer of Wrestling Observer that Neville is “100% gone” from WWE and the company hasn’t announced his release because they are still finalizing the terms of the release.
Dave Meltzer discussed Neville’s status on the recent installment of Wrestling Observer Radio and mentioned that Neville is “happy” after his recent exit from WWE.
“He’s happy. How’s that? He’s a happy man. He’s happy he’s gone. So, there you go. It’s really interesting watching like — we talked about it on Monday, kind of the grass is always greener and the sense that all these indie guys want to get into WWE, and all these WWE guys are envious of the indy guys having so much fun. It’s interesting.”
Meltzer also commented on the talk of a “mass exodus from WWE” and stated, “It’s not gonna happen.”
