Netflix is reportedly eyeing its next big content grab — and this time, it could involve exclusive video access to WWE’s growing slate of podcasts.

According to a report from Front Office Sports, Fanatics has pitched the idea of bringing WWE studio content to Netflix, as part of a broader strategy to break into the video podcast space. This comes right after Netflix announced new partnerships with Barstool Sports and iHeartMedia, where video versions of popular shows will live exclusively on the platform, while audio remains free elsewhere.

WWE already has a podcasting footprint through its existing collaboration with Fanatics. That lineup includes Six Feet Under with Mark Calaway, What Do You Wanna Talk About? with Cody Rhodes, and What’s Your Story? with Stephanie McMahon. As of now, the video versions are posted on YouTube — but if Netflix bites, that could change quickly.

“It was not immediately known if Fanatics pitched its existing shows and/or new ones to Netflix, but sources have told FOS that Fanatics and WWE plan to expand their partnership with more content offerings in the future, and have recently vetted talent for new programming,” reported Front Office Sports.

This move would further tighten the already-close bond between Netflix and WWE. In January 2025, Monday Night Raw officially moved to Netflix in the U.S. — a landmark $5 billion media rights deal that also saw the platform become the streaming home for WWE programming in several international markets.

And the content pipeline isn’t slowing down anytime soon. Season 2 of WWE Unreal, the company’s behind-the-scenes docuseries, is set to debut on Netflix on January 20, 2026.

With Netflix now investing heavily in sports-adjacent content and exclusive podcasts, WWE’s expanding media empire may be the perfect next step.
