Hulk Hogan is back in the limelight— and this time, it’s for his final story. Netflix just dropped the trailer for Hulk Hogan: Real American, giving fans their first look at the upcoming documentary centered around his last interview.

On April 6, 2026, Netflix took to Twitter and released the official trailer for Hulk Hogan: Real American, confirming the documentary will premiere on April 22 and feature the final recorded interview of Hulk Hogan, also known as Terry Bollea. The trailer leans heavily into Hogan reflecting on his own legacy, opening with a line that sets the tone for the entire project: “In wrestling, you should be remembered from all the wars you had and everything you’ve done.”

From there, Hogan directly addresses how he believes he’ll be remembered — acknowledging both the support and the criticism that followed him throughout his career: “Some people hate me, but I think people are going to know the truth—who was this guy, really?”

The footage mixes archival clips with more personal moments, tracing his rise from childhood to becoming one of wrestling’s biggest stars. It also revisits iconic moments like his match with Andre the Giant at WrestleMania III and his showdown with The Rock at WrestleMania X8.

But the tone isn’t just celebratory. The trailer hints at a deeper look into Hogan’s life, raising questions about his legacy and suggesting there may be more beneath the surface — including references to a possible “sinister side” tied to his success.

Near the end, Hogan delivers a more uncertain reflection, admitting he doesn’t know how his story ultimately ends — a moment that carries extra weight given the documentary includes footage filmed shortly before his passing in July 2025.

The series will also feature interviews with several major names from his life and career, including Bret Hart, Kevin Nash, Scott Hall, Jimmy Hart, and Linda Hogan — adding more perspectives to the story behind one of wrestling’s most polarizing icons.

With the release date now locked in and the first trailer out, the focus shifts to how deeply the documentary will go into both the highs and controversies of Hogan’s life — especially with his final interview now part of the project.

Do you think this documentary will finally give a complete picture of Hulk Hogan’s legacy, or will it leave out key parts of his story? Let us know your thoughts.
