Natalya has been making big moves outside WWE in 2025, stepping into promotions like GCW and the NWA with her “Nattie Neidhart” persona — a character that has quickly earned fan approval. Some have even said they prefer it over her traditional WWE character.
Speaking with Cauliflower Alley Club TV, Natalya revealed that she’s eager to bring Nattie Neidhart to WWE, but only if it’s handled with the right creative plan. She explained that without a solid strategy, the character could lose what makes it special.
“I really want to bring Nattie to WWE. I definitely want to bring her to WWE. I think Nattie has to be handled very carefully because the second we bring her to WWE and we don’t have a good game plan, I think we can lose the character, so we have to handle her very carefully.”
Natalya said part of her inspiration for Nattie Neidhart came from Mick Foley’s ability to seamlessly switch between his different personas — like Mick Foley and Cactus Jack — in and out of WWE.
“A big part of the inspiration for this character came from Mick Foley when he was Mick Foley in WWE and outside of WWE, he was Cactus Jack. I think a lot about Mick Foley and the contrast between those two characters and the creativity where it’s like, he can morph back into both of them. He can do both of them, he can play both of them.”
While she believes the character could thrive in WWE, Natalya admitted she’s not entirely sure if the women’s division could keep up with the version of herself she’s created outside the company.
“I want to bring Nattie to WWE, we just have to make sure that the women of the division can handle Nattie because I’m not sure all of them can hang with Nattie.”
Natalya’s comments make it clear she sees big potential for her alter ego — but she’s not willing to risk diluting what has made it so popular with fans in the first place.
