Natalya is a true veteran in WWE’s women’s division and that’s why her legacy is unquestionable. Fans were excited for her match at Bloodsport XIII, and now she has revealed who was the one responsible for everything: her presentation, her opponent, and all the planning that went into it.

While speaking to the Toronto Sun, Natalya revealed that everything about her Bloodsport XIII match with Miyu Yamashita was completely her idea. She explained that Bloodsport felt different because it was an opportunity to create something entirely her own. It was her vision in every aspect, from the music and her outfit to the people accompanying her to the ring.

The individuals who walked with her were her students from the dungeon, whom she had trained from the ground up: Midas, Cam, and Khalil. Midas, in particular, trains with her every week, making them a close-knit “dungeon family.” She wanted them there to walk her to the ring, as they were part of her journey.

The Queen of Harts also handpicked Miyu Yamashita, citing that word on the street was that Miyu Yamashita was considered the most dangerous unsigned woman wrestler in Japan.

“Bloodsport—there was just something so different for me, because it was a chance for me to create something completely from me. It was all just completely my vision of what I wanted to do, everything from my music to my outfit to the people that were walking with me to the ring.

They’re my students at the dungeon that I’ve trained from the ground up—Midas, Cam, and Khalil. Midas is somebody that trains with me every single week, so having them there, they’re my dungeon family, and I wanted them there to walk me to the ring.

I handpicked Miyu because word on the street is that Miyu is the most dangerous unsigned woman wrestler in Japan.”

Natalya made a solid entrance at Bloodsport XIII, walking out to “Killing in the Name” by Rage Against The Machine. She faced off against Miyu Yamashita in a hard-hitting, physical match that showed off both women’s toughness. In the end, Natalya picked up the victory by locking in her iconic Sharpshooter.

At a point in her career when many would think about slowing down, Natalya is doing the opposite, pushing boundaries and proving she’s far from finished. After impressing at Bloodsport XIII and with a big match coming up in the NWA against Kenzie Paige, it’s clear that The Queen of Harts still has plenty to offer. Fans are eager to see how she’ll fare against Paige in their upcoming match.
