Naomi was wrestling in front of packed arenas and throwing down in high-profile WWE matches — all while unknowingly pregnant.
That revelation came straight from her husband Jimmy Uso, who opened up about it during an appearance on Cheap Heat. The situation wasn’t planned. In fact, according to Jimmy, they didn’t find out Naomi was expecting until after she had already competed. The news came just one day before Naomi announced her pregnancy on live television.
“Man, I’ll tell you this. The day she announced on Monday that Raw, we found out Sunday… bro, she was pregnant as f**k at SummerSlam and everything. And she was getting her ass kicked with a whole baby up in her and we had no idea. Had no idea, man.”
Naomi’s return run had fans hyped, but nobody watching knew the physical risks she was unknowingly taking. Jimmy made it clear that even they were stunned once it all clicked — Naomi was bumping in the ring with a baby on board.
The WWE star also shared what it’s like stepping into fatherhood again at 40, reflecting on how different this chapter feels compared to when he had his first children in his early twenties.
“Present is everything I stand on right now. I had my kids when I was, uh, 20, 21, you know. So, you know, I was in a whole… I was a whole another mindset, a whole another game. I was trying to get into the game. But now that we in the game, got security, man. We did our thing. This round—this having our child at 40—man, I’m so excited, brother. Like, I’m so locked in. But I’m also more nervous. I’m like, I’m on edge on everything.”
Jimmy added that Naomi has been adjusting to slowing down and stepping away from WWE’s nonstop schedule — something that hasn’t been easy for her, considering how long she’s been in “go mode.”
Naomi has always been known for her toughness, but this adds to her story. Competing in the ring without even knowing she was pregnant? That’s next-level.
