Naomi Pulled from Women’s Title Match on August 11 WWE RAW

WWE has announced that Naomi will not be competing on tonight’s episode of Monday Night Raw.

She was scheduled to defend the WWE Women’s Championship against IYO SKY, but the match has been scrapped after she was deemed medically unable to compete. From WWE’s official statement:

“BREAKING NEWS: Naomi is not medically cleared to compete and therefore her scheduled match against Iyo Sky will not take place tonight on Monday Night Raw.”

No details have been given yet on the nature of Naomi’s medical issue, but she remains slated to face Stephanie Vaquer at WWE Clash in Paris on August 31. Fans will have to wait and see if this affects her status for that high-profile bout.

With Naomi’s absence creating a major shake-up in Raw’s Women’s division, the focus now shifts to how WWE will address her championship picture heading into Clash in Paris.
