Vince McMahon is stepping into new territory with the launch of his investment firm, 14TH & I.
The former WWE CEO, who still holds a significant stake in TKO, the company that now controls WWE, has registered three limited liability companies (LLCs) in Connecticut as part of his latest business venture. The focus of these companies is to explore opportunities in sports, media, and entertainment, marking McMahon’s continued influence in the industry.
According to WrestleNomics, three companies—14TH & I Holdings LLC, 14TH & I Investments LLC, and 14TH & I Management LLC—were registered on September 20, 2024. All three entities are based in Stamford, Connecticut, and McMahon is listed as the managing member of at least two of them.
The name “14TH & I” has historical significance, as it refers to the location of Capitol Wrestling Corporation, WWE’s predecessor, which McMahon’s father Vincent J. McMahon led in the 1950s and 1960s. The corporation was headquartered at the intersection of 14th and I Streets in Washington D.C.
“14th & I is a private investment firm focused on the sports, media, & entertainment sectors,” said Brad Blum, a former WWE executive and now president of 14TH & I. Blum also noted that the firm is looking for strategic investments that include “buyouts/majority deals, as well as selective growth-oriented minority investments.”
In addition to its investment focus, 14TH & I has filed for trademarks with the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office for “14TH&I” and “14TH & I” to cover private equity fund investments and entertainment production. McMahon’s move into this space could be seen as a natural progression given his past involvement in WWE and his financial reach within the entertainment and sports industries.
Blum emphasized the firm’s role in providing deep expertise and relationships to create long-term value, highlighting the growing scope of McMahon’s business strategy: “We seek to partner with and empower exceptional management teams, providing deep expertise, capability, and relationships to help drive significant long-term value.”
McMahon’s new firm may be his next big step in dominating the entertainment and sports sectors, although his personal legal challenges continue to cast a shadow over his career. He remains involved in multiple lawsuits, including allegations of sexual misconduct, as well as a shareholder lawsuit against WWE related to the merger with UFC and the creation of TKO.
Even with these ongoing issues, McMahon’s new business venture proves that he remains a force in the industry, ready to expand his influence beyond wrestling.
