Multiple Title Matches Announced For August 29 WWE SmackDown

SmackDown will be a big show next week.

WWE SmackDown took place on Friday, August 22, 2025, in Dublin, Ireland at the 3Arena. WWE Friday Night SmackDown on August 29, 2025, will take place at the LDLC Arena in Lyon, France. We already have a few big matches as the company presents their go-home blue brand show before Clash in Paris.

Sami Zayn will get a shot at the United States Championship. That is not the only title match scheduled for the night.

Mello Don’t Miz will take on the Street Profits in a #1 contender match match. The winner of that match will get a shot at the Wyatt Sicks at a later date.

Also, the WWE Women’s Tag Team Titles will be on the line as the Secret Hervice get a shot at Alexa Bliss and Charlotte Flair’s championships. This will be an interesting match, especially considering the upset this week.

We will have to see what happens next for SmackDown. They only have one more week until Clash in Paris, and things are heating up in a big way.
