WWE brought the Royal Rumble to Lucas Oil Stadium, and that included some history. You never know who will show up during the big match, and there was no shortage of surprises from the NXT brand.

NXT is WWE’s third brand at this point. It was expected that a few NXT Superstars would be in the Royal Rumble matches. This year did not disappoint in that department at all.

Roxanne Perez made her way to the ring in the 3rd spot of the match. This wasn’t her first Royal Rumble appearance, as she had two previous under her belt already.

Lash Legend from Meta Four came out next in the ninth spot. This was her first Royal Rumble match, and she got right to work as soon as she hit the ring. Jaida Parker was also in the match in the number sixteen spot, marking her first-ever Royal Rumble match.

Stephanie Vaquer entered at number twenty-four and was met with a loud reaction from the crowd in Indianapolis. That marked her first Rumble match as well. Then NXT Women’s Champion Giulia came in the twenty-eighth spot in the match. That marked Giulia’s first Royal Rumble match too, making this a historic year for those women.

We will have to see what the future holds for all the NXT Superstars who made it to the Royal Rumble match this year. The company obviously has their eyes on them, because they were picked for those amazing spots during one of the company’s biggest premium live events.
