WWE SmackDown is live tonight from the Kia Center in Orlando, Florida, and the lineup is stacked with title fights, big-name appearances, and a major step toward Crown Jewel: Perth.
Sami Zayn is back at it again, putting his United States Championship on the line for the fourth straight week. WWE confirmed that Zayn will issue another open challenge tonight, with his opponent still a mystery. So far during this reign, he’s taken on John Cena, Rey Fenix, and Carmelo Hayes, proving he’s not just holding the title—he’s defending it like his life depends on it. Zayn first captured the title from Solo Sikoa back in August.
Cody Rhodes is also set to appear tonight as the road to Perth continues. The Undisputed WWE Champion is preparing for a massive showdown with World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins on October 11 to determine who will walk out as the 2025 Men’s Crown Jewel Champion.
Meanwhile, the women’s side of the Crown Jewel picture gets a major shake-up tonight. Tiffany Stratton will defend the WWE Women’s Championship in a triple threat match against Jade Cargill and Nia Jax. Whoever wins will go on to face Women’s World Champion Stephanie Vaquer in Perth.
Also on tap for tonight, Michin and B-Fab will join forces to take on Giulia and Kiana James in tag team action. The card is unpredictable, and with a major Premium Live Event on the horizon, anything can happen.
