The October 14 episode of NXT will continue the trend of cross-company matches, and this time three companies are in play.
The NXT and TNA Wrestling ShowDown event on the October 7 episode of WWE NXT was a historic episode. The October 14 episode will continue that theme.
Matt Cardona wanted to get on Team TNA, but Mike Santana didn’t let him. So, he got involved in Josh Briggs and Myles Bourne. Briggs didn’t like that, and he walked in to demand a match against Cardona after asked Ava for a match. After that, Ava granted that match for next week’s show.
Also, Lexis King and Hijo Del Dr Wagner Jr will face off against each other. This match was sparked when King thought that Tavion Hughes was under Wagner Jr’s mask backstage. He wasn’t, and now we have a big match for next week’s NXT.
They will also hold a #1 contender battle royal for the NXT Women’s Title next week on NXT. Ava extended an invitation to TNA Wrestling’s Director of Authority Santino Marella, inviting TNA Knockouts to join in the match to help figure out who will face Jacy Jayne for her title next.
We will have to see what else they bring to the table for the October 14 episode of WWE NXT. At this point, you never know what they will have to surprise fans.
