The Hardys are already riding high after reclaiming the TNA World Tag Team Titles at Slammiversary, and the road to Bound For Glory in October just got even more interesting.
During their appearance on TMZ’s Inside the Ring, Matt and Jeff Hardy were asked about the unpredictable nature of the upcoming TNA tapings after AJ Styles shocked the world by returning to the company. The two were pressed on whether more surprises could be coming, even from WWE talent. Matt didn’t shut the door on that possibility at all.
“Yeah. I mean, anything is possible. And that’s what’s so cool. This isn’t like when WCW and ECW invaded WWE because, you know, WWE was in control of all the booking, but there’s definitely like TNA pitches ideas to NXT, NXT pitches ideas to WWE. I mean, or or NXT pitches ideas to TNA and they go back and forth, you know, and it’s a very creative collaborative process and uh it really is unpredictable and anything can happen.”
Jeff Hardy then chimed in from the perspective of a fan, making it clear he’s been enjoying the crossover energy too.
“Yeah. Me as a pro wrestling fan, I’m a pretty big fan of tricky non-stop action. I love what Trick Williams has been doing. Great. It’s been so so entertaining. I love his theme song. I listen to it all. I love Trick. I love Trick, man. It goes hard.”
The Hardy Boyz already set the stage for one last showdown with Team 3D at Bound For Glory, but with the door wide open for crossover talent and shock appearances, fans could see even more surprises between now and October.
