Mojo Rawley was part of the WWE family since 2013, but he was ultimately released on April 15, 2021, bringing an end to his run with the company. Rawley is clearly doing well for himself now, as he has claimed he’s made more money in merely months than he did in his best year with WWE.

While speaking to SHAK Wrestling, Mojo Rawley revealed that just three to four months after his WWE deparutre, he was already making more money than he did in his best year with the company. He was surprised by how quickly he was able to build his brand and make money outside of wrestling.

“On a personal level, I think it took me three, maybe four months before I made more money than in my best year with WWE, and I kind of couldn’t believe that. You know, it was pretty insane that I had spent a decade with this company, building up my brand and my equity in the company, and it didn’t take that long to be able to monetize my brand, Mojo, and ‘Stay Hyped’ outside of wrestling.”

As Paragon grew, it went beyond just helping with sponsorships and brand deals. Now, the company helps wrestlers sign long-term contracts with WWE, AEW, TNA, and New Japan.

Rawley stated that they also book independent wrestling shows, autograph signings, and brand partnerships. Paragon has even helped wrestlers get roles in movies, commercials, and TV shows.

“Then we started looking at some of our other talent, especially as Paragon started growing into what it is now. In the beginning, we focused more on third-party brand deals, sponsorships, and endorsements—things like that. But at this point, we’re handling long-term contracts with WWE, AEW, TNA, New Japan—pretty much all of them. We’re working with the indies, organizing autograph signings, and still doing third-party brand deals. We’ve placed talent in movies, commercials, and TV shows.”

Mojo Rawley’s journey shows that wrestlers can succeed outside of WWE by building their own brands. He turned his “Stay Hyped” gimmick into a successful business, proving how important marketing, branding, and career planning are in professional wrestling. Therefore, we’ll have to wait and see if more pro wrestlers will follow in Rawley’s footsteps in the future.
