MJF just reignited one of AEW’s most personal rivalries—and this time, he didn’t bother pretending there’s any respect left. During a February 5, 2026 interview on Compas On The Beat, MJF absolutely tore into CM Punk with one of his most unfiltered rants yet.

“You’re talking about CM Punk. Who could possibly give a s***? It’s about me right now. F*** him.”

From there, it escalated fast. MJF went off about their infamous 2022 Dog Collar Match, where Punk walked away with the win. But MJF isn’t just bitter—he says the whole thing was a setup, thanks to Wardlow.

“I would love to beat the f*** out of him just for s**** and giggles. I would love to literally be put in a situation where I can bash his stupid f**ing face in again, because he had a fluke victory over me in the dog collar match because of that schmuck Wardlow.”

The violent outburst comes just a day after MJF calmly acknowledged the importance of the Punk feud on Mostly Sports, while still suggesting he’s building better stories right now.

“If you’re asking me, ‘Is the CM Punk feud the best feud of my career?’ I don’t know if I can say that unequivocally. What I can say is, it’s easily going to go down as one of the greatest feuds of all time. By the time my career is over, when people think of my all-time greatest rivalries, it’s going to be on there.”

With CM Punk now in WWE and MJF still tied to AEW, it’s unlikely we’ll ever see them finish their feud in the ring—but if this promo’s any indication, MJF still has plenty left to say.

Do you think MJF and CM Punk will ever get the chance to finish what they started? Or has that door been slammed shut for good? Sound off below—let’s hear your take.
