MJF just reminded the world that he’s been talking big since day one — and he didn’t hold back while taking a shot at Rosie O’Donnell and Shrek in the process.

On March 24, 2025, the former AEW World Champion shared a childhood photo of himself on Twitter, standing next to a sign for The Rosie O’Donnell Show. In the pic, a young MJF is rocking Shrek ears, a yellow WWE New York shirt, and holding tickets — likely for the now-defunct WWE restaurant in Times Square.

Alongside the image, MJF wrote: “5 years old. Told the world I was going to be a professional wrestling megastar. Rosie gave me tickets to go to the WWE restaurant in Times Square, and free Shrek ears. Place shut down before I got to eat there, And Shrek was mid. Rosie is a crook and I’m a prophet.” Brutal.

The post comes just as MJF is teasing a major shift in his AEW future. After being approached by MVP on Dynamite with an offer to join The Hurt Syndicate alongside Bobby Lashley and Shelton Benjamin, MJF has promised to give his answer next week. With Jon Moxley and his Death Riders causing chaos, it looks like MJF’s solo days might be numbered.

But the bigger headline right now is the way MJF is using his social media to turn a childhood memory into a roast session. Rosie O’Donnell gave him a platform when he was just a kid — but he clearly hasn’t forgotten how that day went down.

And Shrek? Yeah, apparently “mid” in the world of MJF.

Do you think MJF went too far with his throwback post, or is this just peak MJF staying in character? Please share your thoughts and feedback in the comment section below.
