MJF isn’t waiting around to make his next move. The former AEW World Champion is stepping into the Casino Gauntlet at AEW All In on July 12 with one goal—win, cash in, and walk out with gold. And if Jon Moxley is still champion at the end of the night, MJF has a very specific plan in mind.
During his appearance on The Masked Man Show with David Shoemaker and Kazeem Famuyide, MJF made it clear that if he wins the Gauntlet, he’s coming directly for the AEW World Title—especially if Moxley is the one holding it.
“If Dictator Jon wins, I’m cashing in on him. I have nothing to prove with that guy. I already beat that shmuck at Full Gear in New Jersey.”
The Casino Gauntlet match operates under a time-entry format where wrestlers enter in intervals. MJF drew the number two spot, meaning he’ll start the match against number one entrant Mark Briscoe. But if MJF can pin or submit Briscoe before the third competitor enters, he could end the match early and secure his title opportunity.
And if it’s Hangman Page who walks out of the Texas Deathmatch with the AEW World Championship, MJF’s plans get more complicated.
“If Hangman wins, bit of a different story. I’m not going to get into it now, but I have a lot of plans and a lot of Plan Bs, Cs, Ds, and Es for whatever is going to occur at the end of the night.”
Still, MJF isn’t exactly shy about his ultimate goal:
“The one thing I can assure you is, no matter what, I am winning that Casino Gauntlet.”
Moxley will defend the AEW World Title against Page in one of the most brutal matches imaginable—a Texas Deathmatch—making the stakes even higher for MJF’s cash-in threat.
