MJF Spotted in ‘Happy Gilmore 2’ Trailer But No Sign of Becky Lynch

Happy Gilmore 2 is just four months away, and Netflix has finally dropped a full trailer for the highly anticipated sequel. Released on March 18, the trailer gives fans their first real look at Adam Sandler’s return as the iconic golf brawler ahead of its July 25, 2025 premiere.

One of the biggest surprises? AEW’s own MJF making an appearance. Around the 0:35 second mark, MJF can be seen jumping in a circle with Happy Gilmore and other cast members. It was previously reported that MJF will play one of Happy’s sons in the film, confirming that the Salt of the Earth is expanding his reach into Hollywood.

However, one name missing from the trailer is Becky Lynch. The WWE star was first reported to be in the movie back in January, with Seth Rollins later confirming her involvement in February. It’s unclear whether her scenes were left out for now or if she has a smaller role in the final cut.

Alongside Sandler, the new trailer also features Ben Stiller, Julie Bowen, Christopher McDonald, Conor Sherry, and even Bad Bunny. With star power from both Hollywood and the wrestling world, Happy Gilmore 2 is shaping up to be a wild ride.
