MJF always knows how to create controversy at the drop of a hat, which includes his relationship with his real-life parents. That’s why fans found it amusing that he actually wished his Happy Gilmore 2 co-star Adam Sandler a Happy Father’s Day.

The Salt of the Earth took to Twitter and uploaded a photo of Adam Sandler from a scene in Happy Gilmore 2, as he wished Sandler a Happy Father’s Day, saying, “Happy Father’s Day, Dad.”

For the record, the former AEW World Champion is starring alongside Adam Sandler in Happy Gilmore 2, where he portrays the role of Gordie, one of Adam Sandler’s sons. Fans especially found the post amusing, considering the fact that he wished his movie dad a Happy Father’s Day while completely ignoring his real-life father.

MJF made it clear he was given a role in Happy Gilmore 2 because Adam Sandler was really impressed by his performance in the audition and pushed to have him act in a bigger role.
