MJF isn’t letting anyone—including NBC News—question his composure in the ring.

Following a viral moment on the February 4, 2026 episode of AEW Dynamite, where the Las Vegas crowd erupted into a loud, unexpected “F* ICE” chant during the main event, NBC News reported on the incident with a pointed observation. Their tweet read:

“Fans at an All Elite Wrestling match broke out into an anti-ICE chant that briefly paused the pro-wrestling match and appeared to startle one of the wrestlers in the ring.”

MJF wasted no time firing back on Twitter, writing:

“The world champion wasn’t startled. He’s better than you and you know it,” he wrote in response.

While many fans online believed MJF looked visibly caught off guard when the chant began, the AEW World Champion is clearly brushing that off—and doubling down on his signature swagger.

Love him or hate him, MJF wasn’t about to let a mainstream outlet paint him as anything less than unshakable. The champ flipped the narrative with one tweet—and in classic MJF fashion, made it all about reminding the world exactly who runs AEW.

Was MJF really unfazed—or just saving face? What did you think of the moment? Drop a comment and let us know.
