AEW is gearing up for another stacked episode of Dynamite tonight, but not everyone on the roster is excited about it—just ask MJF.

Ahead of tonight’s show, Maxwell Jacob Friedman took to Twitter and made it clear exactly how he feels about working in Washington—and in typical MJF fashion, he didn’t hold back.

“Every time I land in the state of Washington I get this feeling of intense dread. It’s easily in my top 5 least favorite states. Just a horrible place filled with gross hipsters, shitty weather, and a horrible airport. Just truly bad vibes. I hate my job.”

MJF’s brutal honesty comes just before Dynamite kicks off from the Accesso ShoWare Center in Kent, Washington. While the company is building toward All In: Texas next month with a loaded lineup, MJF clearly isn’t thrilled about spending the night in the Pacific Northwest.

Meanwhile, AEW is promising plenty of action, including Kota Ibushi’s return to the ring against Trent Beretta, Men’s and Women’s Casino Gauntlet Qualifying matches, and an appearance from The Hurt Syndicate after their recent attack on Mistico.

But even with all the big matches and storyline developments, MJF’s blunt confession is stealing attention—and proving once again that he’s never afraid to say exactly what’s on his mind, even if it means publicly hating his job.

Ringside News will be providing live play-by-play coverage of tonight’s show over in our AEW Dynamite coverage hub. Also keep checking back with Ringside News for more updates, because there could be several before the big show.

Do you think MJF’s tweet was just him staying in character—or is he really over it? Please share your thoughts and feedback in the comment section below.
