AEW World Champion MJF isn’t sweating his upcoming Dynamite showdown with Brody King—in fact, he’s already calling his shot.
On February 4, MJF will face King in an AEW World Title eliminator match, where if King scores a win, he’ll earn a future shot at the AEW World Championship. But according to MJF, the result is already locked in—and King won’t last two minutes.
Taking to social media on Tuesday, MJF brushed off concerns that King might pose a legitimate threat.
“People think I’m scared?!?!? LOL. The only thing that scares me is how long I’m gonna hold this championship!!! I’m gonna have to retire before I lose it!!!!!” he wrote, before throwing in one more dig. “Here’s a spoiler for ya. Ima beat the big BOZO in under 2 minutes!!!!!!”
MJF’s path as AEW World Champion has been filled with high-profile defenses and mind games—but with contenders lining up for a shot at the gold, the pressure is mounting. King, known for his brute strength and no-nonsense offense, could pose a very real threat—if Max doesn’t back up his words.
