MJF might be a generational talent in the ring, but outside of it, he’s living like a king—at least when it comes to bagels.
During his appearance on the SI Media Podcast with Jimmy Traina, the former AEW World Champion revealed that he has free bagels for life at Bagel Boss in Hicksville, Long Island.
“I’ve been going to Bagel Boss my entire life—since Hicksville. Go to the one in Hicksville, which is by Staples if you know. I’ve been going there since I was a kid in high school because I hated school, and I wasn’t paying attention, and I would just be smoking pot with my friends and I would go to Bagel Boss at 1:00 a.m. for some bagels with lox and cream cheese and some tuna fish—as Long Islanders do.”
Then, one visit changed everything. “So I would go there… We’re talking, I’ve been going to this place since I was a little kid. I enter there, this was last year—the manager was there and starts having a fcking meltdown—‘MJF! MJF! Holy sht! Free bagels for life!’”
And just like that, MJF secured one of his proudest achievements. “I get bagels whenever I want for life. Don’t have to pay at Bagel Boss. Easily one of the best moments of my life. So yeah, and I abuse it. I abuse the sh*t out of Bagel Boss in Hicksville—I most certainly do.*
But this isn’t just about the bagels—MJF sees it as another symbol of his greatness. “I’m the only person that has allowed free bagels. It’s because I have the key [to Long Island].”
MJF isn’t just running AEW—he’s running Long Island, one free bagel at a time. Whether it’s wrestling, money, or food, he always finds a way to come out on top. Love him or hate him, the man doesn’t miss. What’s next—free pizza for life? A sandwich named after him? Only time will tell.
