MJF isn’t spending Valentine’s Day at a five-star restaurant — he’s defending the AEW World Championship in Australia. But according to Maxwell Jacob Friedman, that’s not exactly a problem when you’ve got money, fame, and what he calls a “freak in the sack” waiting back home.
While promoting AEW Grand Slam Australia in Sydney, MJF confirmed he’s “very happily married,” even though he’ll be wrestling on February 14 instead of celebrating with his wife on Long Island. Still, he made it clear he knows exactly what he has at home.
After acknowledging he’d rather be stateside, the AEW World Champion took a moment to rave about his wife in peak MJF fashion.
“Very happily married.”
“Yes. And I’m gonna be wrestling on Valentine’s Day.”
“Much rather be with my wife on Long Island, but here we are.”
“Smoking hot wife. She’s a freak in the sack. So funny, so talented, great lady, very intelligent.”
But he didn’t stop there. When asked what advice he’d give to single men ahead of Valentine’s Day, MJF turned it into a wealth flex.
“If you get rich enough, your wife can’t complain about you doing a wrestling show instead of taking her out on a date,” he said.
And just to drive it home, “So, get rich. Become a famous professional wrestler.”
The comments come as MJF balances his AEW World Championship run with a growing Hollywood career, including roles in Happy Gilmore 2 and Violent Night 2. Yet despite the movie sets and championship defenses, he made it clear he’s still proud of his marriage — and very confident in what he’s got waiting at home.
Is this classic heel MJF turning up the volume for headlines, or just another example of him saying exactly what’s on his mind? Let us know what you think in the comments below and drop your take.
