As noted earlier, doors to the Barclays Center in Brooklyn didn’t open until 5PM at Sunday’s SummerSlam event and it resulted in a nearly-empty arena for the first pre-show match that saw The Miztourage defeat The Hardy Boyz and Jason Jordan.
Dave Meltzer and Bryan Alvarez discussed the nearly-empty arena on today’s installment of Wrestling Observer Radio and claimed that The Miz and other participants in the match were absolutely “furious” at having to wrestle with the arena basically empty.
Matt Hardy on the other hand had a different point of view of the empty arena. He sent out the following tweet:
