The Miz has been part of the WWE family for almost two decades at this point and he is definitely no stranger to main eventing WrestleMania, since he did that already at WrestleMania 27. However, with WrestleMania 41 approaching, he has now addressed the possibility of missing out on this year’s event.

While speaking to Alistair McGeorge of Metro.co.uk, The Miz talked about possibly missing out on WrestleMania this year. As a WWE superstar, he believes that every wrestler should always aim to main event WrestleMania and compete for the WWE or World Heavyweight Championship. However, he admitted that sometimes things don’t go as planned, and he must continue working hard to prove himself.

“No! No, it’s not easy! You kidding me? As a WWE superstar, if your goal is not to main event WrestleMania and be the WWE or [World Heavyweight] Champion, then you shouldn’t be here.

So my goal is always to do that. If the cards don’t fall where they may, you better believe I’m trying my best to to try to get into a spot, or trying to get to that level of what I feel I can produce.

And I do feel I can produce at that level still to this day. It’s just, you know, sometimes the cards don’t fall where they may.”

This year’s WrestleMania lineup is stacked, featuring top names like John Cena, Roman Reigns, CM Punk, and GUNTHER, making it even harder to secure a match. The Miz acknowledged the challenge, stating that many deserving superstars are fighting for a place on the show. With the matches he has heard about so far, he expects this WrestleMania to be an incredible event.

“There’s so many superstars that are well deserving of being in WrestleMania, and it’s a tough card to get onto this year,’ he said. ‘Even the [matches] that I’ve been hearing about, I’m like, my gosh, this is going to be an insane WrestleMania!'”

The Miz has been teaming up with Carmelo Hayes on Friday Night SmackDown since the A-Lister seems to have taken up a mentor role. Whether that translates to a spot at WrestleMania 41 is not known right now.

Despite the uncertainty, The Miz has a proven track record of making an impact in WWE. Therefore, it really wouldn’t be surprising if he finds a way onto the WrestleMania card, even if it’s not in a main event role.

Do you think The Miz deserves a spot at WrestleMania 41? Should WWE book him in a major match, or is it time for newer talent to shine? Share your thoughts in the comments below!
