Mike Santana Reclaims TNA World Title During Company’s AMC Debut

The January 15 episode of TNA Wrestling was a newsworthy episode, for sure. This also included bringing out a couple of new faces for the company, including a new authority figure. Dixie Carter also showed up and got booed in a huge way. We also have a brand-new TNA World Champion.

The night came down to a TNA Wrestling World Title match that saw Frankie Kazarian put his title on the line against Santana.

Near the end of the match, Santana nailed a Spin The Block, but the referee was down, so there was no count. This was frustrating, but the match continued.

Kazarian got the title belt and knocked Santana in the head with it before nailing a Fade To Black on the apron.

They got back in the ring and traded very close pinfalls. Finally, Santana nailed another Spin The Block and won the TNA World Title. This was quite a way for him to kick off TNA’s time on AMC.
