“Speedball” Mike Bailey isn’t going anywhere—and he’s made it clear he’s in AEW for the long run.

After making his AEW debut on the March 12 episode of Dynamite—where he defeated Beast Mortos in the International Title Eliminator Tournament—Bailey has steadily built momentum. While several stars have exited AEW this year, Bailey is going in the opposite direction.

In a new interview with PWInsider, the Canadian standout committed to growing within AEW and being a foundational piece of its future.

“I’m going to be spending a long time with AEW. I want to grow alongside AEW and help AEW grow as it helps me.”

With AEW ramping up for major events like Grand Slam Mexico at Arena Mexico on June 18 and All In Texas at Globe Life Field on July 12, Bailey expressed excitement about the company’s global expansion.

“I think Arena Mexico is absolutely huge. All In is going to be one of the biggest pro wrestling events of all time.”

As AEW prepares for some of its largest shows to date—including a blockbuster Jon Moxley vs. Adam Page AEW World Championship match at All In Texas—Bailey’s commitment signals confidence in the company’s direction.
