Mickie James just got her flowers in the most unexpected way—live and on the air.

During a live episode of Notsam Wrestling Live! on SiriusXM, TNA Wrestling President Carlos Silva dropped a bombshell while James was chatting with Sam Roberts and Tommy Dreamer. Silva surprised her mid-interview with the announcement that she’s officially being inducted into the TNA Wrestling Hall of Fame.

James, a five-time former Knockouts World Champion and 11-time women’s world champ across WWE and TNA, will take her place in TNA history on Sunday, October 12, during Bound For Glory at the Tsongas Center in Lowell, Massachusetts.

She becomes the fourth Knockout to be inducted, joining Gail Kim, Awesome Kong, and Traci Brooks. Since the Hall of Fame’s creation in 2012, 16 individuals and groups have received the honor, and James is the first confirmed name for the class of 2025.

She’s spent over two decades in the ring, building one of the most impressive résumés in women’s wrestling. Her 2021 Bound For Glory match with Deonna Purrazzo was named Knockouts Match of the Year, and she’s also racked up multiple Woman Wrestler of the Year honors over the years. Beyond wrestling, she’s made waves in country music too—her single “Hardcore Country” became an anthem, and she’s been inducted into the Native American Music Awards Hall of Fame.

TNA’s Bound For Glory is stacking up with major names on the card. Jeff and Matt Hardy, Team 3D, Moose, Mike Santana, Steve Maclin, AJ Francis, and Nic & Ryan Nemeth are all set to appear. The Knockouts division is also fully loaded with Indi Hartwell, Masha Slamovich, Tessa Blanchard, and all members of the Elegance Brand ready to throw down.

Plus, Trick Williams—currently part of the WWE NXT roster and reigning TNA World Champion—will be in the building, making this crossover moment even bigger.

Fans will also get to witness The Hardys take on Team 3D one last time in a tag team clash that’s built for nostalgia and bragging rights.

Mickie James being honored during Bound For Glory is more than fitting—it’s overdue.
