Mick Foley is trading barbed wire and steel chairs for lacrosse sticks in his latest TV appearance. The WWE Hall of Famer is set to guest star on Rabil’s Places, the ESPN+ series hosted by lacrosse icon Paul Rabil and part of Peyton Manning’s Places franchise.
According to Deadline, Foley will appear in Episode 4, titled “Crease and Desist,” airing June 25, 2025. The episode follows Rabil as he explores a potential return to the Premier Lacrosse League (PLL) as a goalie, with Foley stepping in to share his perspective.
“Physical, mental, and technical demands of the toughest position in sports,” reads the episode description, as Foley draws from his own surprising background as a former lacrosse goalie. Alongside Lacrosse Hall of Famer Scott Bacigalupo and PLL star Blaze Riorden, Foley will give Rabil a crash course on what it takes to survive in the crease.
Foley’s unexpected appearance on the lacrosse-themed series adds another twist to his eclectic post-wrestling career, reminding fans that the Hardcore Legend’s journey is anything but predictable.
Mick Foley’s career has taken him from the ring to the lacrosse field — and now he’s bringing his hardcore style to ESPN+. Keep an eye out for Foley’s episode on Rabil’s Places and see what advice he dishes out to Paul Rabil.
