WWE Hall of Famer Mick Foley just gave fans the most brutal injury breakdown ever — and somehow, the worst one wasn’t physical.

While speaking at FanX Salt Lake City 2025, the Hardcore Legend opened up about the insane physical toll his body has endured after decades of punishing matches, bumps and chair shots. From burns to shattered bones, Foley ran through the kind of list that sounds more like a war journal than a wrestling résumé.

“Second-degree burns on my arm and shoulder. A broken right wrist, bone chips, and a separated right shoulder. A bruised kidney, a torn abdominal muscle, a torn ACL, two-thirds of my ear ripped off, a broken nose, four teeth knocked out, a broken jaw, a dislocated left shoulder, a fractured left shoulder, a broken left thumb, 350 stitches, six herniated discs, five broken ribs, a broken toe — and a shattered heart.”

And just in case you were wondering what hurt the most? Foley didn’t miss a beat as he made it clear that a shattered heart hurt the most, but it’s just a part of growing up.

“One guess as to which one was the most painful. We all know, right? It hurts, doesn’t it? It’s part of growing up, though.”

This comes after Foley previously scrapped plans for a 2024 retirement match, citing unbearable pain and a doctor’s warning about his hip being the “worst [he’d] ever seen in 25 years.” Foley also admitted he nearly attempted one final insane stunt: dropping an elbow off a TV truck onto a car — but thankfully backed off after a reality check about the toll it could take.

“I wasn’t willing to pay with my health. I wasn’t willing to pay with my hip, and I wasn’t willing to play games with my head,” he said earlier this year.

Even now, after all the pain, blood, and stitches, Foley’s ability to talk about it with humor and heart proves why he’s one of the most beloved icons in wrestling history.
