Mick Foley has never shied away from pain, but even longtime fans weren’t ready for the emotional rollercoaster he took them on during his FanX 2025 appearance in Salt Lake City.

The WWE Hall of Famer was asked how many bones he had broken throughout his career—and instead of brushing it off, Foley went full send. Foley mentioned that someone had recently sent him a list of all his injuries and wanted him to post it online. But in true Foley fashion, he opted for comedy over self-pity.

“Luckily someone sent over a photo with my injuries on it. They wanted me to post it, and I said, ‘No, let’s post the Chevy Chase thing instead.’”

Then came the moment where Foley detailing the brutal price his body paid over decades in the ring.

“Second-degree burns on arm and shoulder. Broken right wrist. Bone chips and elbow. Separated right shoulder. Bruised kidney. Torn abdominal arm muscle. Torn ACL. Two-thirds of ear ripped off. Nose broken. Four teeth knocked out. Broken jaw. Dislocated left shoulder. Fractured left shoulder. Broken left thumb. 350 stitches. Six herniated discs. Five broken ribs. A broken toe…”

After a dramatic pause, Foley delivered the knockout line, “…and a shattered heart.” Foley reminded everyone why he’s still one of the most respected performers in the business. It wasn’t about the titles. It wasn’t even about the pain. It was about how much of himself he gave for the fans.
