There’s been plenty of excitement about WWE Evolution 2, especially with the all-women’s Battle Royal rumored to feature surprise appearances from legends and stars across the wrestling world. But not everyone is waiting by the phone for that invite—because for some, it hasn’t even come.
On July 7, WWE Hall of Famer Michelle McCool made it clear that she hasn’t been contacted for the event. After a fan tweeted, “pick up the phone!! @McCoolMichelleL @TheBarbieBlank”, McCool replied with a blunt update: “Hasn’t rang!”
The timing is interesting considering Alundra Blayze recently teased that she hopes to appear in the Battle Royal at Evolution, adding fuel to fan speculation about which legends might be brought back for the show.
“THIS WAS FUN!! Looking forward to #WWEEvolution #BattleRoyal It would be great again! I wish🔥”, Blayze posted on Twitter.
Evolution 2 is shaping up to be a stacked event with 7-8 matches and talent expected from not just WWE but TNA and beyond. WWE Hall of Famer Trish Stratus is already confirmed to challenge Tiffany Stratton for the WWE Women’s Championship, and speculation continues to swirl about the Battle Royal lineup.
Whether or not Michelle McCool ends up competing, it’s clear there are still a lot of moving parts behind the scenes—and some of WWE’s biggest names are just as curious as the fans.
WWE Evolution 2 takes place next Sunday, July 13, 2025, at the State Farm Arena in Atlanta, Georgia. The event will feature stars from WWE’s Raw, SmackDown, and NXT brands, along with legends and outside talent.
