The women are kicking things off on the grandest stage of them all.
Michael Cole confirmed during Friday’s Pat McAfee Show that the WWE Women’s World Championship triple threat match will open night two of WrestleMania 41 this Sunday. That means IYO SKY will defend her title against Bianca Belair and Rhea Ripley in the very first match of the night—an electric way to start the show.
This match isn’t just a title defense—it’s a collision of three of WWE’s biggest forces. IYO has dominated since cashing in her Money in the Bank contract at SummerSlam, while Bianca and Rhea have remained major players in the division, both holding world titles in the past year.
Cole said it best: “WrestleMania Sunday starts with the Women’s World Championship on the line.” And you already know these three are going to set the tone in a big way.
