The March 31 episode of WWE RAW ended in pure chaos at London’s O2 Arena, but according to one former WWE insider, fans didn’t even need to wait until the final bell to figure out what’s next—because Michael Cole apparently spoiled the whole thing on commentary.

Rhea Ripley finally got her rematch against IYO SKY for the Women’s World Championship, with Bianca Belair as the special guest referee. As expected, the match spiraled into madness. Bianca called it off after a series of wild spots, declaring she was “done,” which left fans furious and Rhea Ripley even more so. But it wasn’t just the in-ring action that got attention.

Former WWE head writer Vince Russo sounded off during Legion of RAW, calling out Michael Cole for telegraphing what’s coming next—likely a triple threat at WrestleMania 41.

“Week by week by week, Michael Cole is showing again and again how badly he needed Vince McMahon,” Russo said. “Bro, if you were to tell me one more time Rhea Ripley is not any closer to the main event at WrestleMania and he’s not going, if you were to tell me one more time Michael…”

Russo didn’t hold back, accusing Cole of blatantly giving away WWE’s creative direction with his commentary. “Obviously, thanks to you greatly, we know it’s gonna be a three-way with Rhea Ripley at WrestleMania because you told us six times that Rhea is nowhere near WrestleMania. He should know better than that. He’s been doing this for a long time and that was really telegraphed at the end of the show.”

Cole’s repeated reminders that Rhea might not make it to the WrestleMania card have sparked fan theories—and now Russo has basically confirmed what many were already thinking: that WWE is lining up Rhea vs. Bianca vs. IYO in a triple threat on the biggest stage of them all.

If that’s the plan, Cole may have jumped the gun—at least according to Russo, who feels the commentary team should know better than to spell things out before the story’s had time to breathe.
