WWE has seen a lot of people come through the company, and some of them made lasting impressions. Tonight was a special night with John Cena’s final match at Saturday Night’s Main Event, and they also paid tribute to some voices we couldn’t hear on the show.

Saturday Night’s Main Event finally went down in Washington, DC, but not everyone who has been a huge part of John Cena’s career could be there.

During Saturday Night’s Main Event, Michael Cole took some time to mention other people who sat behind the commentary table and had an impact on John Cena’s career. Those people who called a ton of the GOAT’s matches couldn’t be there, but they deserved an honorable mention, no matter where they work now.

Michael Cole sat next to Wade Barrett, as he gave a shout-out to Corey Graves, but he didn’t stop there. Cole also mentioned Taz, who was on the call the night Cena debuted. Then Cole brought up Jim Ross and Jerry “The King” Lawler.

Of course, Jim Ross has been a part of AEW for years now. Taz was also a part of Tony Khan’s organization. Although Jerry Lawler hasn’t gone to AEW, but his contract expired last year.

What’s your take on Jim Ross and Taz getting love during Saturday Night’s Main Event? Do you think that they will ever be back in WWE? Let us know what you think in the comments section!
