Kamille had been Mercedes Mone’s bodyguard for the past few months, but she quit after facing mistreatment and abuse from Mone back in November. While Kamille is still absent from AEW television, it seems Mone was willing to end their feud for good.
While speaking on The Hump, Sean Ross Sapp was asked if Kamille was injured during her absence from AEW and whether there is a chance she could face Megan Bayne this year.
Sapp noted that he hadn’t heard Kamille was injured and he noted that bringing back Kamille to face Megan Bayne made sense. He also revealed that Mercedes Mone was open to wrapping up her feud with Kamille.
“Is Kamille injured? Not that I have heard. Yeah, I think there’s a shot. I think it would actually make a lot of sense to bring her back. From what I had heard, Mercedes was open to doing something to blow that off. I don’t know what happened there.”
Kamille was mysteriously taken out during a past episode of AEW Rampage, creating fan speculation about Mercedes Mone’s possible involvement. Adding to the mystery, Mone fueled the rumors with a tweet saying, “There’s a price to pay when you mess with #Moné #AEWRampage,” leaving fans with even more questions about her role in the attack.
It is to be noted that this was the last time fans ever got to see Kamille on AEW television. To make matters even more concerning, Kamille blamed the company for poorly presenting her character on television, stating that she was not even given a chance to show more sides to her.
We’ll have to wait and see if Kamille returns to AEW television to start a feud with Mercedes Mone. However, with no updates and her continued absence, her return seems less likely and now fans are worried about her future in AEW.
