Few pro wrestlers can boast what Mercedes Moné has achieved in her career, especially in AEW. Now that she’s picked up her 10th title belt, a name change is in order.
Mercedes Moné finally clinched one of wrestling’s most famous records. Her goal was to surpass Ultimo Dragon’s milestone of holding ten championships at once. Dragon’s record dates back to 1996, when he held the J-Crown along with the NWA World Middleweight and WCW Cruiserweight Titles, reaching ten total before losing them a week later. Now, the CEO has that 10th title belt.
Mercedes Moné already held nine titles across several promotions, including AEW, CMLL, RevPro, EWA, PTW, BestYa, Queen of Southside, and Discovery Wrestling. On October 10, 2025, she captured her tenth championship by defeating Aliss Ink for the BODYSLAM Women’s Title in Denmark, ending Ink’s 1,100-day reign.
To go along with her new accomplishment, Mercedes Moné changed up her handle on X. She is now known as Ultimo Moné on the social media platform. Of course, that is taking a direct jab at Ultimo Dragon, whose record she has now tied.
We will have to see if Mercedes Moné is able to win her 11th title in pro wrestling, because that would be an amazing accomplishment. If anything, we will be here with more updates on whatever she does next here at Ringside News.
