Mercedes Moné Snaps at Fans Over WWE Return Questions

Mercedes Moné has a message for fans constantly asking if she’ll ever return to WWE—cut it out.

During a recent Instagram Live, the AEW star made it crystal clear she’s tired of hearing the same question over and over again about a possible comeback to her former company. The CEO of AEW didn’t sugarcoat her feelings, firmly shutting the door on that discussion.

“For the love of all of my fans, please don’t start asking me when I’m coming back to ‘you know where.’ I’m in a good mood, I’m in a good place. I’m tired of that question.”

This isn’t the first time Mercedes has addressed her WWE past, but this time she drew a hard line. After her exit from WWE, she seriously thought about walking away from wrestling altogether. Instead, she turned that chapter into the most successful move of her career, proudly declaring herself the highest-paid woman in the business.

Moné has firmly planted herself as a top-tier presence in AEW, and it’s clear she wants to stay focused on her current run. She’s made it obvious that WWE is no longer part of her journey and she has no intention of looking back.
