AEW Dynamite: Spring Break-Thru is locked and loaded for April 16, but one of the company’s top stars might be facing her toughest opponent yet—international shipping.

TBS Champion Mercedes Mone is set to go one-on-one with Athena in the Owen Hart Foundation Cup tournament. It’s one of the most talked-about matches on the card… but now, her gear might not even make it to the arena on time.

Mercedes took to Twitter on April 14 with a very real problem: “My gear for #AEWDynamite is stuck in customs @DHLGlobal Let’s all pray that it gets here in time 🤑🤑👏🏽👏🏽🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾 #AEWSpringBreakThru.”

The post sparked instant reactions from fans, many of whom flooded her replies with good luck emojis and hopes that her ring gear makes it out of customs before bell time. While there’s no word yet on a backup plan if the gear doesn’t arrive, Mercedes seems to be keeping a sense of humor—and her cool—despite the last-minute headache.

With stakes this high, the gear is just one piece of the puzzle. Mone and Athena are set to tear it up in their Owen Hart Cup clash, while AEW also delivers huge matches involving Will Ospreay, Konosuke Takeshita, Hangman Page, and The Death Riders vs. The Opps in a Trios Title brawl.

Here’s what’s confirmed so far for Spring Break-Thru on April 16:

  • Will Ospreay vs. Konosuke Takeshita – Owen Hart Cup Match
  • Mercedes Mone vs. Athena – Owen Hart Cup Match
  • Hangman Page vs. Wild Card Opponent – Owen Hart Cup Match
  • The Death Riders (Jon Moxley, Claudio Castagnoli & Wheeler Yuta) vs. The Opps (Samoa Joe, HOOK & Katsuyori Shibata) – AEW Trios Titles

Will Mercedes Mone’s gear arrive in time—or will she have to improvise on live TV? Either way, it’s shaping up to be a night fans won’t forget.
