Mercedes Moné isn’t in the mood to coddle her critics. During a fiery Instagram Live session, the AEW TBS Champion went off on fans who constantly attack her online, mocking their obsession with seeing her lose and slamming those begging for her WWE return.
Moné, who has become one of AEW’s most prominent stars since signing with the promotion, vented her frustration over people who seem to get upset at her simply for enjoying her life and being successful.
“You know I can use my money as a finance to go help the marks out. I don’t know what to do. Is there any Krew therapist out there? Because they definitely need someone to talk to, because they’re very angry at my comments every single day. I wake up and I post the most amazing stories, just a recap of my life every single day.”
She then ridiculed her critics by pretending to sob, mimicking the kinds of messages she gets from fans who say she’s “ruining wrestling” by holding too many championships and refusing to lose.
“And these marks are like sniff sniff [pretends to cry] ‘Nooo, why do you have so many titles? You’re ruining wrestling, waaah, you’re too good, stop it. Please lose, please!’”
That’s when Moné made her stance crystal clear.
“B***, I’m never going to lose. I’m the greatest, and I’m the greatest TBS Champion of all time.”*
With the Forbidden Door pay-per-view event on the horizon, Moné gave fans a chaotic preview of her strategy. She revealed that she has no plans of letting anyone else walk away with a win—even if she has to break the rules.
“So at Forbidden Door, I’m not going to lose, and I’m not going to let anyone pin each other. Because I’m going to break it up. I’m gonna pull them out of the ring. I’ll f*****—oops, excuse me, that’s how angry I am—I’ll even beat the damn ref if I have to.”*
She also threw a jab at WWE fans still holding out hope for her return to the company she once called home.
“Crybabies.”
The AEW star has had online spats in the past, but this live session showed just how fed up she is with what she sees as constant negativity from fans who can’t accept her success. Her heel energy is no longer just a gimmick—it’s personal.
Mercedes Moné continues to blur the line between performance and real life, and if her latest Instagram Live rant is any indication, she’s not done taunting her haters any time soon.
