Mercedes Moné just lost another championship, and her recent run keeps heading in the wrong direction.

She competed on March 29 at Prime Time Wrestling in Poland, where she dropped the PTW Women’s Championship to Diana Strong. The loss adds to a growing list of title defeats that have piled up in recent weeks.

With that latest result, Moné is now down to just two physical championships. She currently holds the WPW Women’s Championship in Canada, the APAC Women’s Championship in Malaysia, which isn’t defended regularly.

This keeps the pattern going after Moné already lost multiple titles earlier this month. She previously dropped two belts in one night at RevPro High Stakes and had also lost the EWA Women’s Championship and the CMLL Women’s World Championship in quick succession.

She doesn’t have much time to regroup either. Moné is set to defend the WPW Women’s Championship against Jody Threat on March 31, which could be another major moment depending on how that match plays out.

There’s also a bigger picture here. Moné has been off AEW television since the beginning of the year after losing the AEW TBS Championship to Willow Nightingale at Dynamite New Year’s Smash. She has said she plans to return to AEW after her upcoming title defense, which could mark her first appearance back in months.

Right now, the story is simple — the titles keep slipping away, and the pressure keeps building with every new defense.
