Mercedes Moné has suffered another major setback after losing another championship just days after dropping the CMLL Women’s World Championship.
The latest loss came on March 8, 2026, at the Mone Mayhem event in Bagnolo Cremasco, where Moné was defeated by Swan. With that result, Swan captured the BestYa Wrestling Women’s Championship and handed Moné her second title loss of the same weekend.
Just two days earlier, Moné had already lost the CMLL World Women’s Championship to Persephone during the main event of “The Night of the Amazonas” event at Arena México. The defeats add to a growing streak of difficult results for Moné, who has now lost five straight championship matches across several promotions.
The run dates back to December 17, when Moné dropped the RevPro Undisputed British Women’s Championship to Alex Windsor during an All Elite Wrestling Collision taping in Manchester. Shortly after that loss, Moné and Athena failed to capture the AEW Women’s World Tag Team Championship when they lost a title opportunity against The Babes of Wrath at World’s End.
Only days later, Moné also lost the AEW TBS Championship to Willow Nightingale at the New Year’s Smash event. Despite the recent setbacks, Moné’s schedule remains packed across the international wrestling scene. She is set to appear for Banger Zone Wrestling in France on March 14 before returning to RevPro on March 21.
Moné is also scheduled to appear for Winnipeg Pro Wrestling on March 31, one night before AEW presents Dynamite in the same city.
While the recent losing streak has cost her multiple championships, Moné remains one of the busiest international performers in wrestling today as she continues competing across promotions around the world.
